SUMMER IS HERE!!!!!!

Happy May the 1st everybody!!!!  It is officially summer time and we all know what that means: longer evenings, hotter days and summer vacations!!!!!
Althought the weather here in Ireland isnt shall I say "summery", hopefully all of us will get the opportunity to go to a beach this summer for sun, sand and sea.
Todays post? You've guessed it. "Summer beach bag essentials".
and so i begin ...................

SUMMER BEACH BAG ESSENTIALS:

The first thing you need is obvious isnt it? A beach bag!
I have mine from a little boutique in Bulgaria that i bought about 5 years ago. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it  and will be using it again this summer.
  Any inexpensive tote style bag will do the trick. The one pictured is from Forever 21 and costs 5.75EUR ans d they have a wide selection of prints.

 and finally a Kaftan beach cover up!!!!

Beauty post: Coral Blush/Bronzer duo's!!!!!!!

A reoccuring trend I have spied in the beauty industry recently is blush/bronzer duo's. In particular for SS11, coral and bronzer combined in one is huge on trend for cosmetics. I am totally in love with this idea as I find the convience of having a blusher and bronzer in one will come in hand during the summer months.
Here are different types of this new empidemic of face product that I am lusting after.

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel in bronze corail.


 This bronzing product new for chanel summer collection is the product I am wanting most. With four luscious strips of coulor ranging from a coral to be used presumebly as a blush, to a dark brown bronzing coulor and light coulors to highlight in between. As soon as this hits Irish Shelfs in May I will be quick to purchase.
COST: $50 in Usa. Estimated about 40EUR at Chanel counters from may.

Nars Portrait Of Paradise blush bronzer.

A combination of Nars' best selling blush/highlight/bronzer, shades  Orgasm, albatrosse and Laguna. I  reckon this is on the beauty wishlist of thousands of girls around the world. Nars highly popular and infamous blush Orgasm is included in this set which I believe will increase its popularity. I  feel for me this is the best way to try all three of the products to come to conclusions with.

Topshop Cheek duo in Desert Sun.

This was the product that first intriqued me to discover these blush/bronzer products. Its fabulous packaging and moon shape with half and half is divine and the coral mimics that of Orgasm yet more matte. It is a fraction of it's Chanel and Nars counterparts and from what I have observed seems to do a good job . I am inpressed.

Elf Blush and Bronzer Compact in blushed and bronzed.

This is a budget version and really resembled a Nars laguna/ orgasm duo. It contains pretty simular coulors in person and is not as light as pictured. Extremly good value for rescessionista's although wouldn't be my pick of the bunch.

Dr.Marten's!!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!

I am a self confessessed doc's fan. I would wear them anywear to be honest. An intant style statement in a boot conbined with a rebellious edge, these boots are a must have for any fashionista's wardrobe. above pictured on the left is Jamie Winstone, Avril Lavigne and Agnes deyn (ranked on my top 5 stle icons post yeasterday) all wearing super cool doc's and proving the shoe's awesomeness!!!!!! On the right is Pretty reckless singer and gossip girl actress Taylor Momsen pulling off the highheeled version. My favorite kind are the polka dot kind above. I adore these boots sooo much that they are literally my favorite piece of footware in my closet. So everybody go grab your self a pair of these comfortable, stylish boots and lets be fashionable and sensable together!!!!

Navigating my way around the lovely streets of Dublin on Wednesday I bumped into a beautiful young girl,  style blogger " style angel 11". Firstly, I'd like to welcome everyone to my blog. After dreaming about this for a while i desided to start a blog. As this is a fashion/beauty orintated blog, I felt the most approriate first post would be my top 5 style icons:

MODERN DAY STYLE ICONS:

(1)Alexa Chung: 
Alexa chung is simply stunning. She oozes style, sophistication and class. Her natural beauty and floaty "geek chic" outfits give Ms.Chung a place in my top 5 style icons. I must admit I  have a major gurl crush on Alexa (:


(2)UFFIE:
I LOVE UFFIE!!!!!!!!!! For those of you who dont know who she is, uffie is a Paris-based underground erlectronic artist, ffashion designer and socialite, She is signed to critically acclaimed French dance record label, Ed banger Records. Not only is her music kick-ass , her style is too!  provocative yet classy and EXTREMLY FRENCH! Uffie channels the hipstep trend and pulls it off with perfection. This earns her a spot on my top 5 style icons.


(3)Alice glass:
 Lead vocalist and lyricist of electro rock band, Crystal Castles, for you guys who didn't know. Alice glass pull of the 'off my face' grunge look so well. She makes filty drunk look sexy and I admire her dress sense. Grunge meets vogue!!!! LOVING IT!

(4)AGYNESS DEYN:
An English fashion model come singer. Agness deyn is single handly the most unique, unusual beauty I have ever came across. She pulls masculinity and etheral femininity together into one, always with diversity.Her face is one of the prettiest I have ever seen and her dress sense compliments it, earning her a place on my style icon list.


(5)Pixie Geldof:
Face of levi's, Henry Holland and walking the catwalk for Vivienne Westwood, Pixie has earned her place in the fashion industry. Literally resembling a pixie, this young socialite/model always dresses in a grungy fashionable manor that others featured in this list such as Agyness Deyn and Uffie favor. Pixie Geldof is truely delightful and has a deserving place on my list.



There you have it! My favorite fashionable chic's of this generation. Quirky, totally fashionble and unsual. In my opinion, these stylish beautiest rane supreme!
